I know you are all probably groaning and rolling your eyes at the fact that I chose to write a journal entry about over population, but bear with me.

I think it is a large scale problem that not many people are willing to either admit exists, or do anything about it. With the predicted world population count at 10.5 billion in the year 2050 (an unrealistic number, I might add, for it was estimated based on the level of population growth that existed late 90's, not current)we are unknowingly staring our own doom in the face.

The world can not sustain 10.5 billion people. We don't even have enough natural resources to last us until that large group becomes a reality, so how are we hoping to keep the human race alive.

I'm not a "the world will end in 2012" kind of person, but I think it's a pretty accurate estimate. That gives us a little over three years to do something about our declining situation.

I'm looking for a group of radicals of all ages to aid me in spreading awareness to this problem. I'll be visiting Florida sometime in August and I'd love to get in contact with any of you residing there who are interested in helping me get this program off the ground. I'll also maybe be on the west coast of Canada and the United States come fall, so tell me if you live around there and have my same sentiments.
